2019 YOUTH NATIONALS

Based on Missouri Valley’s overall rankings, official competition records and Team Missouri Valley Premier (MVP) eligibility and selection procedures, below is the final rankings for the MVP Youth National Team roster for 2019!

TEAM MISSOURI VALLEY PREMIER ELIGIBILITY & SELECTION PROCEDURE

Missouri Valley Weightlifting (MVW) will use official records to determine athlete ranking in the Missouri Valley  (according to Webpoint)
Team MVP will have 3 national team rosters per year: Youth National Team, Junior National Team, and National Championship Team.
Top 10 men and top 10 women will receive formal invitations from the MVW Board of Directors to participate as part of Team MVP Youth/Junior/National Championship team.

Missouri Valley athletes will be ranked according to their percentage of Missouri Valley eligibility totals. Once an athlete accepts the MVW’s invitation, they must change their official club affiliation in Webpoint to Team MVP no less than thirty (30) days before the upcoming national event.

Should an athlete decline, the MVW will move to the next highest ranked individual in sequential order and distribute formal invitations until team rosters are filled.
Kansas & Missouri residents who achieve 90% of their respective eligibility total will be given priority. Should the scenario arise in which all Kansas/Missouri resident athletes at or above 90% of team eligibility totals have been notified and DECLINE, Team MVP considerations will be extended to out-of-state lifters that belong to a Kansas or Missouri based sanctioned club in order to submit complete team rosters. These lifters will also be subject to the same ranking system based on team eligibility totals.
